“I look forward to my Adoration time. For sixty minutes I sit face to face with my best friend, Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Despite challenging and questionable life events, I give thanks for all Jesus has done for me, my family, and friends. During these days of turmoil around the world, I pray for peace—peace in our hearts, as well as for our country and our world. I pray for our beloved priests, for without them there would be a huge void. Over the past couple of years, I have found peace and joy during Adoration, which has helped me in unexpected ways. No matter where I go for Adoration, it is the same Jesus who meets me.”

“My life is so busy and chaotic these days. Spending time with Jesus one on one is the most important thing I can do outside of Mass. I need the quiet time. I need the one on one attention. I need and crave His love and His look. I need His acceptance of my misery. Mostly these days I need His strength and His courage and His graces. I just need to be in HIS REAL PRESENCE. I just need to sit with Him and allow Him to form me and to change me. I just need to show up and trust whatever He wants to give me. And it is always His Mother, my Mother, our Blessed Mother, who leads me to Him.”
