Fr. Declan Giving Tuesday Message

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It was truly a great joy to be back in Huntington, New York on November 23rd for our Eucharistic Retreat Day commemorating the Centenary of the Feast of Christ the King.

As many of you know, I am currently based at Holy Apostles Seminary in Connecticut where I serve as Priest Formation Advisor. It is blessed work indeed to be helping in the formation of our future priests. This is a reduced role, however, from what I previously held so as to allow more time for me to focus on the works of the Most Holy Eucharist Foundation, works which are so important for the renewal of the church.  When the missionaries returned to France, my Bishop graciously approved my continuing the Eucharistic works within the United States with the foundation. It is such a blessing and privilege to labor in this way for our Eucharistic Lord.

Let me share with you some of the things I am working on as we extend the mission of the Most Holy Eucharist Foundation.

Our Eucharistic work includes Eucharistic Parish Missions on a regular basis.  Through the work of parish missions  approximately forty adoration chapels have been established throughout the country.  We also give Eucharistic Retreat Days, like what we just had recently in Huntington, as well as private Eucharistic Retreats, Divine Mercy Retreats and Ignatian Retreats to both lay and consecrated religious.

Some new projects include making short Eucharistic videos aimed at revealing the gift of the real presence of Jesus in our midst in the Eucharist and inspiring people to spend time with Him.

We also have the possibility of offering a beautiful Log Cabin as a place of rest and renewal for priests. This is so greatly needed. The Log Cabin is located in the quiet, beautiful countryside of Arizona in a location that is both very scenic and secluded. It is an ideal setting for a private retreat.

I receive so much positive feedback from people who share how their lives have been impacted by our Eucharistic Lord and how important the mission or retreat they attended has been to them. For me there is nothing more powerful than such personal testimonies in confirming the importance of this work. Please know that these testimonies are in large part thanks to your support.

In order for this work to continue to grow, I humbly ask that you consider helping in the following ways.

Firstly, your prayers are so important for our work and for the souls the Lord seeks to touch through our labors.

Secondly, I humbly ask for you to consider making a financial donation to the Most Holy Eucharist Foundation. We are in need of your generosity. To mention just a few of the current projects we want to cover:

We want to create a beautiful private chapel within the Log Cabin. We also want to produce a series of Eucharistic videos.  Not to mention the general administrative operating costs.

Would you consider making a financial contribution?

Perhaps you would consider a monthly contribution?

Your tax deductible donation can be made through our website:  mostholyeucharist.com

You may also make checks payable to the “Most Holy Eucharist Foundation” and send to:

P.O. Box 12536, Scottsdale, AZ  85267

or

Fr. Declan Gibson, 33 Prospect Hill Rd, Cromwell, CT 06416

Another way you can help is to share with me any thoughts or ideas you may have on how we can best serve you and the Church.  Perhaps I will be able to implement some of these ideas. You can write to me directly in this regard by email to: mhefbusiness@gmail.com

With my sincere gratitude and prayers for all of your help and support.

May Our Eucharistic Lord bless you abundantly,

Fr. Declan
